The Arkansas Law Review Goes Digital

October 22, 2009

Law REview Editorial Board 2009-10

The Arkansas Law Review is proud to introduce its new website, arkansaslawreview.org.  This website includes a pdf version of the articles currently in print, information on how to submit articles for publication and the review’s new legal blog, The Arkansas Record

The website has been “in the works for several years now,” said Samantha Leflar, Editor-in-Chief of the Arkansas Law Review.  “It was one of the goals of the editorial board to bring this idea to fruition,” she said.

The Arkansas Law Review is still published in print quarterly.  On arkansaslawreview.org, users can access all of the articles that appear in the current printed issue.  “We think that going online will increase our accessibility to the Arkansas bar and to the law school community,” Leflar said.

The law review’s online presence will also make it more convenient and efficient for readers, Leflar said.

Arkansaslawreview.org is also the home to the law review’s new blog, The Arkansas Record.  The Record will be updated regularly, said Eric Bell, Arkansas Law Review Technology Editor.

“The blog is a collaborative effort,” said Leflar.  Members of the Law Review editorial board will post regularly about current legal issues in Arkansas and across the nation.  But Leflar is seeking additional blog contributors.  “We’d love to get professors and members of the bar and bench involved,” she said.
