School of Law Congratulates Philip S. Anderson

Philip S. Anderson, a 1959 graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, will receive the Outstanding Service Award from the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation on Feb. 9 at the 57th Annual Fellows Awards Banquet at The Belo Mansion, Dallas, Texas. The award recognizes Fellows who have, in their professional careers, “adhered for more than thirty years to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession and to the service of the public.”
Anderson served as president of the American Bar Association from 1998-99. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, a Life Fellow in the American Bar Foundation, and a former Wylie H. Davis Distinguished Practitioner in Residence at the School of Law.
