Giving Opportunities

Choosing to give back is a meaningful decision. Whether creating a legacy through an endowed gift or starting a non-endowed fund, every gift sends a powerful reminder that many successful leaders have walked our halls and have chosen to invest in future generations of legal professionals.

Stand in the future with us. Your support makes everything possible.

Student Scholarships

Scholarships are our single greatest tool to attract and retain the best and brightest students to the School of Law. While students consider many factors when deciding where to study law, financial aid is almost always a significant, if not decisive, factor. While 68% of our students receive some level of support from scholarships, only 3.3% receive full tuition awards, causing many prospective students to choose other opportunities or rely on student loans to fund their legal education. We strive to continually reduce our students’ dependence on student loans. Annually funded scholarship awards can be established for as little as $1,000 a year, or an endowment can be created with a minimum of $5,000 a year. To give to student scholarships, contact Erin Feller, director of development and external relations, at feller@uark.edu or (479) 575-3468 or give online to the Law School General Foundation Scholarship Fund.

Since establishment of the fund, students have attended the Arkansas Summit on Human Trafficking, the Natural Resources Conference, the Arkansas Public Service Academy, Ms. J.D. Leadership Academy, American Bar Association Committee Meetings, and the National Black Law Student Association Conference.
